My Skills

My Skills is an Australian Government website providing individuals, students, job seekers and employers with information about training courses and registered training organisations (RTOs). MySkills enables consumers to search for, and compare, training courses and training providers.


National Centre for Vocational Education Research (NCVER)

NCVER is responsible for collecting and managing national training and Australian Apprenticeship statistics, and managing national surveys of TAFE graduates, students, and employers' views of training. THE NCVER website provides access to NCVER research publications.


Study Assist

The Australian Government Study Assist website provides information for students about government assistance for financing tertiary study. In particular, the website provides information about VET FEE-HELP and student income support benefits such as Youth Allowance, Austudy and ABSTUDY.

Training.gov.au (TGA)

TGA is the national register of vocational education and training in Australia. TGA is the authoritative source of nationally recognised training (including training packages, qualifications, units of competency, accredited courses and skills sets) and registered training organisations with approved scope to deliver nationally recognised training.


Unique Student Identifier (USI)

The USI is a reference number made up of numbers and letters that allows students to view all of their training results for training completed with any registered training organisation after 1 January 2015. The USI website enables students to create their USI and login to their USI account to access their training records and results.


WorldSkills Australia

WorldSkills Australia is an organisation that conducts skill competitions in trade and skill areas. Competitions are held in areas such as bricklaying, garment production, commercial cookery, heavy vehicle mechanics, electrical installation and IT support.
