ACT Women in Trades Grants Program Round 2 is open for applications
The Minister for Vocational Education and Skills has announced the second round of the ACT Women in Trades Grants Program and applications are now open.
The ACT Government’s Women in Trades Grants Program is designed to support the growth and development of Canberra’s vocational sector with the overarching objective to improve women’s participation in male dominated trades in the ACT. Round 2 of the ACT Women in Trades Grants Program will make approximately $600,000 available to continue to support targeted projects. The specific objectives that the projects should address in round 2 are:
- Objective 1 - Increase the take up of women in a male dominated trades
- Objective 2 - Improve advocacy, engagement and information sharing, supporting attraction and retention of women in male dominated trades.
Interested applicants are invited to attend an Information Session:

Applications can be lodged online.
The closing date for submission is 4:00pm, 20 December 2018.
